My old modem in same spot in house worked fine. No solutions at this point except they want me to buy their wifi extenders.

A Smart TV in the basement stutters more now than when I had 12mbs Uverse. One device (Brother printer) on wifi in same room at 2.4g is at RSSI -41.

RSSI on the affected devices on the 5g band is -59 and -67 respectively for an iPhone 8 and a 1 year old PC in the same room in direct line with router and -74 and -84 for PC and Mac one room away. I have read multiple complaints that the range of the XB6 is poor.

No cordless phones in house, no bluetooth devices running. They are on the 5ghz, chosen automatically by the router. Yet the devices losing connection are only a few feet away in next room or even same room (PC, Mac, phone, ipad). Tech mapped house and location of modem is good, signal good in all but 2 rooms. Tech has been out here, stats look good for delivery of signal to house (upstream, downstream, SNR). Resolved slow speeds from street with exterior changes, but having constant (multiple per hour) disconnects from this new modem on WiFi on IPV6 (not happening w/Ethernet.) Have read this is an issue with this model. I am only on the 150 mbps tier but was given this new Technicolor modem because we were having so many connection issues. We've had Xfinity wifi service a month now. Outside of these times, our Xperts and other community members are likely to respond to your post.
